College Station, Texas – August 2014 – This month, Schulte Roofing has seen success in the form of two high-profile awards. The first, a nomination for the 2014 Torch Awards, is a tribute to the company’s commitment to ethical business practices. Secondly, Schulte Roofing has been honored with inclusion in Roofing Contractor’s annual list highlighting the very best in the industry and ranks amongst the “Top 100 Roofing Contractors” in the nation.
The Better Business Bureau (BBB) presents the Torch Awards for Marketplace Ethics annually. This is the highest honor they give and it’s reserved for a company with a steadfast commitment to ethical business practices, integrity, and honesty. The Torch Award was created with the hope of promoting both the significance of ethical business practices as well as the necessity for companies who go above and beyond and promote fair and honorable businesses for the entire nation.
Nominees are asked to return a Torch Award Application. From there, an independent panel of judges with a particular specialty in business ethics chooses the winners. The nominees are split up into categories based on how many employees the company has so that similarly-sized companies compete for the award. Winners will be announced at the annual BBB Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics Luncheon in College Station, TX on September 10th.
Roofing Contractor has compiled its list of the Top 100 Roofing Contractors for the sixth year in a row with the goal of “putting a well-deserved spotlight on industry all-stars” (Roofing Contractor). The list features companies in the U.S. and the ranking is determined by annual sales revenue submitted voluntarily by each contractor. 2014 was Schulte Roofing’s most successful year to date and these two honors only ensure greater success in the coming months.
Roofing Contractor recognizes that 2014 was a year of particular hardship based on the extreme weather and rough winters that plagued the United States. Despite these hardships, the companies making their list rose above the unfortunate weather and still provided professional and unwavering service to its loyal clients.
